The U.S. Embassy in Algiers is seeking an individual for the position of Student Intern in the Human Resources Office. The internship lasts up to one year.

MAJOR DUTIES OR PROJECTS: The HR intern will provide the HR team with administrative support on, for example, employee paperwork, the awards program, update, and maintenance of HR records, scanning and filing of documents, and organization of files.  Flexibility is key as this position may help support any of the human resources functions.

KNOWLEDGE: Must be a current university undergraduate student in good academic standing (i.e., open to 3rd or 4th year students) in any of the following majors: Human Resources, Business, English, Translation, Social Science, or related field.

SKILLS: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs.

ABILITIES: Candidates should be organized, able to maintain a professional demeanor in an office environment, and have the ability to multitask.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Good working knowledge of English (3); French (3); and Arabic (3).  (Written and spoken English will be tested.)
