The U.S. Embassy’s Cultural Affairs Office, in collaboration with Ecole Nationale Superieure (ENS), conducted 2 days of workshops with teachers in training. The workshops, led by U.S. English Language Specialist Dorothy Zemach, English Language Fellow Delia Dunlap and regional trainers Richard Kahn and Julie Myers, provided Algerian participants with a “New Teacher’s Toolbox” of resources and tools for teaching English in middle and high schools. Leah Bitat of World Learning and Ida Heckenbach of the Cultural Affairs Office also made presentations in plenary sessions.
