Message to American Citizens: Constantine

According to press reports, on 28 October, terrorists killed an Algerian policeman in a restaurant in the city of Constantine.  An ISIL-affiliated group has claimed responsibility.  The Algerian government is engaged in operations to apprehend the attackers.  Pending further information, the U.S. Embassy has cancelled staff travel to Constantine for the next two weeks.  We urge American citizens considering travel to Constantine to review their plans.
