The U.S. Embassy in Algiers hosted a Congressional delegation led by Representative Stephen F. Lynch October 7-8. During the visit, the delegation and Ambassador John Desrocher met Algerian Foreign Affairs Minister Sabri Boukadoum and discussed efforts to promote economic cooperation, combat terrorism and enhance security in the region, and other areas of bilateral cooperation.
Representative Lynch has been representing South Boston in the House of Representatives since 2001. He is a member of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, the Committee on Financial Services, and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
