U.S. Congressional Staff Delegation Visits Algiers

In the framework of our regular engagement and discussions to strengthen U.S.-Algeria relations, a delegation of Congressional staff members from the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Congressional Research Service will visit Algiers April 8-10, 2017.

During their visit, the delegation and U.S. Ambassador Joan Polaschik will meet with a wide range of government officials, political party representatives, and civil society leaders to learn more about current political and economic issues in Algeria and potential areas of bilateral cooperation.  The United States values its partnership with Algeria, and looks forward to working with the Algerian government and people to further strengthen our people-to-people ties and develop our bilateral cooperation in all areas.
